Friday is the grand opening for the Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs. The former Desert Shadows Inn & Villas is under new ownership, but has returned to its original roots as a family-friendly clothing-optional retreat.
What looks like a walled-in, austere complex from Indian Canyon Drive is actually overflowing with plush waterfalls, streams, pools, tennis courts, workout facilities, individually owned condos and villas, a restaurant and spa.
